Perform the startup and shut down of all injection moldings and auxiliary equipment for daily production schedule; optimize process settings at setup to ensure acceptable quality level of production and acceptable scrap loss. Assign responsibilities to production personnel.
Verify and update process control documentation
Tend and monitor all injection molding machines and automation to ensure continuous and efficient operation; verify and maintain process parameters, pressures and cycle times and respond to problems with injection molding and automation.
Maintain material control and levels at designated machines.
Maintain daily maintenance and safety checks on designated machines.
Assist in the troubleshooting and debug new molds, assist in diagnosing of molding problems.
Effectively communicate necessary information of molding status to next shift processor.
3 years’ experience in molding manufacturing environment
Must be familiar with engineering plastics, in particular PC, ABS PBT, PPS POM, PEEK, Nylon, Glass filled and Carbon Fiber Filled
